Step 1: Fill the bath, and use your elbow to test the water’s temperature. It has to feel warm on your skin.
Step 2: Washing your baby’s face. Using a cotton ball deep in cool water wash each eye, you can also use new cotton balls to wash the ears and the mouth.
Step 3: Remove the clothing, but make sure to leave the diaper on. Then, wrap him the towel, making sure to tuck the arms too, to keep them out of the way.
Step 4: Hold your baby firmly over the edge of the bath and start washing the hair. Use just a little bit of baby shampoo and make sure to rinse the hair.
Step 5: Make sure you dry your baby’s hair thoroughly. Then, take the diaper off and use water to wash the diaper area.
Step 6: Now, it is time to place your baby inside the bath, keep one hand under his head while also grasping the shoulders and the other hand goes under the baby’s bottom.
Step 7: Use the hand you have on the bottom to wet your baby, use soap if necessary.
Step 8: Place the hand back under the baby’s bottom and lift him out of the Bath.
